Andrea Acciaressi

Associate Director

Andrea’s flair for lighting design began at University following his talent for the arts during senior high school. Successfully gaining a Bachelor of Science in Product Design (University of Florence, Italy) where Andrea combined both technical and creative disciplines.

Andrea began working for an international lighting manufacturer in 2007, where he advanced his knowledge of engineering, sales and lighting equipment across different markets.

Joining Light Touch has allowed Andrea to combine his innovative design skills with his technical knowledge within the creative environment of independent consultancy. Andrea’s passion for lighting design is clearly evident and he is excited to be living and working in the Middle East.

Sophia Stezenko

Principal Lighting Designer

Sophia took her master‘s degree in architectural lighting design at the Wismar Academy after graduating from the Berlin Art Academy with a diploma in product design. Previously, at Consuline Architetti Associati in Italy, Sophia worked on the development of lighting systems, architectural and event lighting projects.

Over the last 10 years, Sophia’s passion for Exterior and Landscape lighting has played a vital role in Residential projects, enjoying the processes of design development, site supervision and commissioning.

Her other passion to get a release from the daily grind include Beach Volley ball and riding her motorcycle.

Teresa Enroth

Principal Lighting Designer – Delivery

Teresa’s experience in the themed and architectural lighting world stems from more than 25 years of experience in lighting live performance. Her architectural design works includes theme parks, entertainment, museum exhibits, hotels and office buildings.

In the construction world, she has overseen lighting installations for architectural and entertainment projects worldwide. She has also programmed the final lighting looks required by the projects she works on.

Aijaz Nakhawa

Principal Designer – Technical

Aijaz is an Electrical Engineer by qualification with a flair for design, having more than 22 years of experience in lighting, 14 of which have been in the lighting design consultancy.

Being technically savvy, Aijaz became involved in lighting design and installation and has  successfully completed many prestigious projects in the UAE and internationally.

Sathish Kumar

Senior Lighting Designer

Sathish has over 7 Years’ experience in Architectural Lighting Design and has worked on projects across Singapore and India. He completed his Master’s Degree in Architectural Lighting Design with First Class Honors from Kungliga Tekniska Högskolan (The Royal Institute of Technology), Stockholm, Sweden.

As part of the Light Touch Team, Sathish is using his Lighting Design expertise to great effect across our portfolio of projects. Sathish is also a semi professional photographer and has continued to do this alongside his chosen career path of lighting design.

Maurizio Ciavolella

Senior Lighting Designer

Maurizio took his Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Naples, Italy. He found his passion for lighting during his university years, and after his graduation he continued his specialization in Lighting Design with a second level master’s in the University of Rome. He collaborated with various design firms and then decided to open his own studio, Studionit.

After several years of working and teaching lighting in Italy, and in his effort to further develop his career, Maurizio decided to find new exciting challenges by joining Light Touch PLD.

Neilvin Celis

Lighting Designer – Delivery

A lighting professional with a strong passion in working with anything and everything about design. Initially worked as Project Architect for high-end residentials in the Philippines for 5 years then moved in to the UAE and continued working as a consulting Architect for another 3 years. Over the following 8 years, Neilvin worked as a Design Manager for a Lighting Distributor overseeing a team of multi-talented individuals and catering to the ever-demanding market of UAE and the Gulf.

Neilvin holds a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, that has given the edge to interpret overall requirements of projects from concept to delivery.

Stephanie Jeffcote

Visual Designer

Steph our Visual Designer has been with Light Touch since the start back in 2010. Inspired by her Grandmother’s paintings she pursued her creative vocation; in 2002 she achieved her Bachelor of Arts degree in Digital Media. Her creative thinking and competence in the production of visualizations and graphical work are highly inspirational.

Steph is most passionate about travel, friends & family, art, cinema, design and rock & roll baby!

Marzia Adipietro

Lighting Designer

Marzia completed her Master’s Degree in Architecture at the University of Naples with a thesis on a new project in Morocco utilizing local building technologies. During her studies, she worked with architectural studios in Italy and after achieving her professional qualification, she worked as a freelance designer.

Her passion for architecture and lighting design started when she joined and worked with the team at Studionit, a studio in Italy. Since then, she has been part of the design of many professional lighting projects. Marzia brings her architectural and lighting expertise to Light Touch PLD, expanding her career into larger and more diverse projects.

Nur Fakhoury

Lighting Designer

Nur’s passion for lighting started while she was doing her BA in film and theatre. Few years later, she wished to expand into the architectural lighting world and completed an Interior Design diploma as well as an Msc in Light and Lighting.

A great way to kick-start her career after some time studying was by joining Light Touch.

Saurabh’s first encounter with lighting design was as he was working for an MEP contractor in the construction of the world’s largest indoor theme park, IMG Worlds of Adventure, in Dubai. He was so impressed with the diversity and complexity of lighting that he decided to pursue his Master’s degree and a career in the field. He wrote his thesis on ‘Influence of Lighting design on Guest dining experience’ and is exploring this subject practically through his work. One of his goals is to provide effective lighting design for historical temples in India.

He joined Light Touch PLD in November 2019, having a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication from Mumbai University and a Master’s in Lighting Design from Edinburgh Napier University.

Saurabh loves music, reading, and is a self-confessed foodie who likes exploring new restaurants and trying new cuisines.

Santos Logdat

CAD Manager

Santos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from the Philippines. He is a proven skilled & competent CAD draughts person, who over the last 16 years has produced electrical and mechanical shop drawings for a number of large scale contractual projects. Santos will utilise his experience in draughting coupled with his enthusiasm for design to further develop as a Lighting Design Engineer.

Santos is a valued member of the Light Touch Design team where his knowledge of related disciplines & services are coordinated within our comprehensive documentation.

Eugenio Calleja

CAD Draftsman

EC is a highly motivated young architect with 5 years experience in the UAE.

He enjoys creative and technical tasks in Autocad, 3d modeling and manual sketching. EC is also skilled in creating and assisting architectural/interior/landscape lighting concept designs making him a highly valued new member of the LT team.

In his spare time you can find EC with a good book!

Randy Galit

CAD Draftsman

Randy has certificates in Computer Technician, AutoCAD 2D & 3D Rendering and Technical Drafting NC II

Joining Light Touch in 2014, he has worked on a number projects. When he is not working he likes to relax by cooking Filipino food and also plays volleyball and bowling.

Jaime Mascarinas

CAD Draftsman

Since gaining his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science in the Philippines, Jamie has honed his 2D and 3D CAD skills with 14 years professional experience developing AutoCAD designs within the hospitality industry.

Previously an experienced kitchen design draftsman, Jamie has developed a keen interest in lighting design. In addition to his drafting skills, his background in computer maintenance makes him a valuable part of the Light Touch family.

With his passion for cooking, Jaime’s loves spending time in the kitchen experimenting with authentic Filipino dishes, for his wife and daughter to enjoy.

Aurora Espinosa

Document Controller

Aurora has been with Light Touch from the very beginning and has many years’ experience in Document Management. Throughout her career, Aurora has gained extensive experience of the construction & design industries; previously working within a multi-disciplinary organisation has given Aurora an in-depth understanding of the challenges when creating and maintaining complex document control systems.

Aurora’s document management skills are essential and invaluable in facilitating our projects being run smoothly and efficiently

Mae Manalo

Document Controller

Mae’s qualifications include a bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science and a 2nd Honor in Office Management training. She has many years’ experience in Office Management. Throughout her career, her passion for her work gives her the motivation to succeed and continuously striving to learn more is reflected in her progression from being an Office Secretary to Document Controller.

Aside from singing in the church choir, she’s quite the budding visual designer in the making and is currently working her way through several short courses in all the Adobe Creative Suites.

Emma Davies

Commercial Project Manager

Emma has lived and worked in the Middle East for over 10 years. As our Commercial Project Manager, she has the mammoth task of looking after the designers and the projects, making sure everything is running as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Time is money!

Emma has a HND in textile design and has recently completed a BA (Hons) in Interior Architecture and Design. Quite simply ‘Gin’eus

Shiva Mukherjee

Accountant

Shiva completed his Master of Commerce in 2007 whilst working for Leminar Air conditioning, he later moved to a sister company where he spent 7 years before joining the Light Touch family.

Other than a passion for numbers, he also has a passion for food and Music and enjoys cooking for his family.

Ella Agaser

Office Admin & Bid Coordinator

With 15 years of experience in the Middle East, Ella plays an essential part in running Light Touch’s office. Her knowledge and expertise in administration and accounts give her the assets to successfully coordinate bids and quality processes.

She has a passion for learning and teaching, having completed a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and collaborated in the development of learning modules which are extensively used throughout the Philippines.

Ella enjoys spending time with friends, travelling and music, which she sometimes creates too.

Malcolm Fernandes

Accounts Assistant

Malcolm completed his MBA (Finance & Operations) in 2017 at Manipal University Dubai. Before joining this company, he worked in SPT Middle East as a Sales & Logistics Coordinator. He has a hunger for acquiring knowledge in Accounts.

His passions are staying fit, going on long drives, listening to music, travelling, and loves being around his family.

Shiju P Babu

BIM Coordinator

Shiju has earned a diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in Tamil Nadu, India and is highly proficient in Revit/BIM and CAD softwares.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of Electrical Design Drafting, Shiju boasts a strong background and utilizes his expertise effectively in our projects.

Shiju has a strong passion for electronics and is constantly driven to become well-versed in his field.

Mohamed is a licensed project management professional holding Masters in Architectural Engineering & Sustainability. Focusing on the human and cultural aspects of the building design Ecosystem which started during his early training in Cyprus & the middle east made him strategize and deploy these principles in his projects. He then continued to develop his professional knowledge being LEED green associate & Value methodology associate to further implement advanced engineering principles in projects development and delivery.

Through his professional journey, He has been working for more than 12 years with two of the Middle East’s leading Engineering Consultancies and his portfolio includes wide range projects of hospitality, residential & commercial developments in the region.

After several years of working in architectural engineering & project management, and in his effort to further develop his career, he joined Light Touch PLD to find new exciting challenges steering efforts towards effective execution of projects using advanced BIM & strategic project management techniques to optimize workflows and increase efficiency.
